Cheryl Ann Dorsey

Cheryl Ann Dorsey, age 64 of Cornelia, passed away Wednesday December 8, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Dorsey was born December 8, 1946 in Gainesville to the late Leonard and Birdie Mae Wooten Gibbs. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Leethal Dorsey and brother, Kenneth Gibbs. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dedra Ann and Aaron Forrester, Homer; son and daughter-in-law, Brannon and Valerie Dorsey, Woodstock; sons, Chad Dorsey, Cleveland; Derrick Dorsey, Virginia; sisters, Sheila Davis, Cornelia; Kathy Gibbs, Clarksville; Terri Crumley, Cleveland; Christy Freeman, Homer; and 9 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 11, 2010 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Gillespie will officiate. Interment will follow in Zion Interdenominational Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
