Christine Evelyn Brown

Christine Evelyn Brown, age 93 of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Brown was born on February 14, 1921, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late Floyd Andrew Ferguson and Eula Tanner Ferguson. She was a homemaker and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. She was also a charter member of the Goodwill Circle. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Brown; son, Gene Brown; brothers, Pratt Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, Arvil Ferguson; sister, Gladys Ellis. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Margie Brown, Cleveland, Ricky and Trish Brown, Cleveland, Randall and Amy Brown, Pendergrass; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Charles Collins, Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Ginger Brown, Cleveland; sister-in-law, Jessie Ferguson, Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Barrett Chapel. Dr. Joe Vernon will officiate. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
