Christopher Ray Ricks

Christopher Ray Ricks 39, of Sanford FL passed away suddenly on April 9, 2011. Born in Atlanta, GA he had lived most of his life in Albany. He was a truck driver and a member of Gillionville Baptist Church in Albany. Before moving to Florida he lived several years in Cleveland GA with his wife and children. He is survived by his wife Amanda Ricks, son Zachary Scott, two daughters Meghan Scott and Savannah Scott all of Sanford FL. He is also survived by his mother Charlotte Bonner of Cleveland GA and his father Steve Ricks (Jewel) of Dawson GA and step-brother Todd Kearbey of Albany GA, aunts Betty McEntire (Ron) and Bea Chambers (James) both of Cleveland GA, aunt April Browning of Wahalla, SC, uncle Thomas Browning (Gail) of Cleveland GA ,aunt Jane Owens (Kevin) of Leesburg GA, uncle Doyle Ricks (Pat) of Memphis TN and several cousins. He is the grandson of Paul and Eula Browning and Caleb and Latrell Ricks who all precede him in death. A memorial service will be held at Crosswalk Baptist Church, Hwy 115 E in Cleveland, GA at 10:30 a.m. on April 30, 2011. The Rev. Tom Etterlee will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crosswalk Baptist Church, P.O. Box 985 Cleveland, GA 30528 debt fund.
