Cindy Marie Hester

Cindy Marie Hester, age 64, of Dahlonega, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. Mrs. Hester was born on May 4, 1960, in Habersham County, to Joyce Rice McIntyre and the late Aubrey McIntyre. She was a member of New Haven Church in Gainesville, Georgia. Survivors include her daughter, Candace Marie Dockery Fowls (Scott), Cleveland; son, Colt Lee Hester (Megan), Dahlonega; mother, Joyce McIntyre, Cleveland; brother, Terry McIntyre (Sabara), Cleveland; sisters, Dana Skelton (Mark), Cleveland, and Denise Smith (Gary), Gainesville; husband, Horace Hester; and grandchildren, Michael, Easton, Leyton, Claire, Ashton, Addyson, Aubrey, Rory, Adalyne, Kyleiyy, Veyda, and Memphys. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 23, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Griffin will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:45 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
