Claud Franklin Elliott

Dr. Claud Franklin Elliott, Jr., age 62 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017. Mr. Elliott was born in Demorest to the late Claud Franklin and Anne McConnell Elliott.  He was employed as a Physics Professor at the University of North Georgia for 33 years and was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.  Survivors include wife, Noreen Elliott, Cleveland; daughter, Sara Elliott, Warner Robins; sister and brother in law, Jan and Ray Turner, Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; sister and brother in law, Nancy and Dan Aiken, Helen; brother and sister in law, Tom and Kim Elliott, Cleveland; and brother, Bill Elliott, Cleveland. Memorial services will be held at 2PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from Shoal Creek Baptist Church.  The Rev. Stacey Dyer will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 8PM Tuesday at the funeral home after the service.
