Claude Alexander

Claude Alexander, age 75, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017.   Mr. Alexander was born in Gainesville, the son of the late Guy Wesley and Lucille Roberts Alexander. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Vietnam War and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.  He was a retired Electrician. Survivors include his wife, Rita Alexander, Cleveland; daughters and sons in law, Renee and Tracy Goss, Cleveland, Crystal and Greg Smith, Lula, and Shannon and Danny Spurr, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Michael and Jackie Smith; son, Jordan Alexander, Cleveland; step-daughter, Teresa Mann, Cleveland, step-son, David Sands, Arizona; sisters, Dorothy Tipton, Gainesville, and Louise Harkins and Martha Dorman, both of Cleveland; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Solid Rock Baptist Church.  The Rev. Jerry Whitlock, the Rev. Jerry Goss and the Rev.
