Claude Franks Jr.

Mr. Claude Franks Jr., age 75 of Cove Arkansas, formally of Cleveland, passed away February 15, 2014. Mr. Franks was born April 6, 1938 in Towns County to the late Claude and Wilhelmina Franks. He graduated in 1955 from Cleveland High School and was a teacher. Survivors include his daughters, DeeAnna and George Likens, of Cleveland and Christy and Rodney Black, of Cleveland; grandchildren, Drew Simmons, Olivia Simmons, Noah Black, and Zhen Likens, all of Cleveland; brothers, Clovis and Angel Franks, Dallas, GA, Lowell and Martha Franks, Lilburn, GA, and Glenn Franks, of Cleveland; and one sister, Brenda and Gilmer Vandiver, of Cleveland. Memorial services were held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hatfield First Baptist Church with Brother Ron Ladd officiating.
