Clayton Wilson George

Mr. Clayton Wilson George age 81 of Sautee. Mr. George passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. George was born on August 19, 1930 in Fort Worth, TX to the late Everett and Mayda Ponder George. He is also preceded in death by a borther, Everett Leroy George. Mr. George was a supervisor at a nuclear power plant with United Engineer and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: wife: Betty Echols George, Sautee; son and daughter in law: Larry & Gail George, Ooltewah, TN; daughter and son in law: Karen & Jeff Skorich, Dawsonville; grandchildren: Dallas & Sarah George, Dillon & Carmen George, Danny & Jesse Gano, Dusty & Lorie Skorich and Holly Skorich and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Burt officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 just prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial maybe made to Mountain View Church of Christ, 38 Thurmond Rd. Cleveland, Ga.
