Clyde Free

Clyde Free, age 85 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Free was born November 3, 1939, to the late Garland and Minnie Wilson Free. He was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Free was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine Free, great grandson Paxton Tate Hughes, sister, Charlotte Shook. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Eddie Free (Frances), Lula; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa Elliott (Bobby), Alto, Anita Tankersley (Danny), Cumming; grandchildren, Dayna Cass, Erin Addison, Ciera Hughes, Cassidy Elliott, Heather Bever; sisters, Virginia and Brenda; great grandchildren, Gabbi, Eden, Mallory, Jayla, Sterling, Stevie, Ava, Drake; special companion, Linda Addison Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.
