Colista Katheryne Hulsey

Colista “Kit” Hulsey, age 66 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hulsey was born October 17, 1957, in Hall County to the late Wallace and Emma Ruth Howard. Kit retired from Cleveland Post Office, where she worked as postal carrier. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical and all of Kit’s caregivers for love and compassion during this time. Survivors include her husband, Joey Hulsey; daughter, Christi Cloer; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney Paige Denney and Josh Denney; son and daughter-in-law, Jacob and Ashley Hulsey; siblings and spouses, Beckie and Gerald Sims; Karen Allison; Janet and Lee Chambers; Dickie and Phyllis Howard; Anthony and Fay Howard; Ricky Woolever; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, July 8, 2024, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Spencer Anderson and the Rev. Tony Howard will officiate. Interment will follow at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 5-7 PM Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the funeral home.
