Constance Silvis

Constance “Aunt Connie” Silvis , age 74 of Sautee, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at her families’ residence, The Gearings. Ms. Silvis was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Meryl and Grace Menoher Nicely. She was a retired teacher, who taught for 34 years, and a member of Zion Methodist Church, Ligoneir Valley, PA. Survivors include her sister, June Gearing, Austin, Texas; nieces and nephews, Bill and Jeannette Gearing, Sautee, GA, Paula and Sterling Boon, Austin, TX, Pam and Craig Bradley, Charlottesville, VA, Mary and Mike Cullen, La Canada, CA, and Jack and Teresa Gearing, Raleigh, NC; as well as many great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Father Rudd will officiate.
