Mrs. Cora Mae Coleman age 97 of Cleveland passed away Friday April 13, 2012 at Chestatee Regional Hospital. Mrs. Coleman was born in North Branch, Michigan and lived in Georgia for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Flossy Smith, husband, Pete Coleman, sisters, Isabel Clark, Mary Grace Rhodes, Vivian Bearup, brothers, Edwin Smith, Clifford Smith, Charles Smith, Harold Smith, grandson, Cecil Edward McCall and great grandson, Charles Scott McCall. Mrs. Coleman had lived at the Gold City Convalescent Home the past 5 years and before that lived with her daughter, Florence Smith and granddaughter, Annette McCall. She attended White County Senior Citizens Center until she went to live at Gold City. Survivors include her daughter, Florence Smith, Cleveland; granddaughters, Susan Breeden, Chatsworth, Martha Sanders, Mt. Airy, Annette McCall, Cleveland; grandsons, Wade McCall, Franklin NC., Ricky McCall, Clarkesville, Samuel McCall, Franklin NC., James McCall, Statesboro; 6 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren; brother, Ernie Smith, Arizona; sister, Betty Johnson, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday April 16, 2012 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will be at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
