Cora Wade

Mrs. Cora Wade age 94 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday September 27, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Wade was born in Cleveland, Georgia the daughter of the late Marvin and Ella Turner Chapman. She was preceded in death by sons, Kenneth Wade, William Wade, Edward Wade, daughters, Barbara Ann Wade, Edna Wade and brothers, Odell Chapman and Oscar Chapman. Mrs. Wade was a homemaker and a member of Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Hubert Wade, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Wendell and Mary Wade, Cleveland; daughter in law, Linda Wade, Cleveland; grandchildren, Bryan Wade, Natalie Wade Chris and Audrey Wade, Lisa and Mike Dixon; 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday September 29, 2014 at the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Flynn and the Rev. Garvis Kinsey will officiate. Interment will follow at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
