Curtis Franklin Long

Mr. Curtis Franklin Long, age 72, of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Long was born on March 12, 1936 to Cleo Turner Long and the late David Long. He was an auto mechanic for over 52 years in White county and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: daughter and son in law: LaDonna and James Hall, Demorest; brothers: Grady Long and Harold Long, both of Gainesville; mother: Cleo Long, Gainesville; 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 19, 2008 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Fortner and Rev. Corbitt Baker officiating. Burial to follow in Philippi Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday at the funeral home.
