Cynthia Moss-Gunnells

Cynthia Yvette Moss-Gunnells 58, affectionally known as “Cindy”, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 11th at Friendship Health and Rehabilitation Center. Cindy was Born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Sarah Christine Dorsey and Donald Lockwood. She is preceded in death by her son Mr. Cory D. Moss. She attended Indianapolis public schools completing her high school education in 1982 at Emmerich Manual High School. Survivors include her devoted husband of 3 years, Mr. Lonnie Eugene Gunnells, Daughter Krystal Yvette Moss, Daughter-in-law Candice Mccullough (Cory), Stepson Craig Trammell, Brother Morris W. Lee Jr. and Alberta Lee, Niece Christine D. Jackson (Marquis), 5 Grandchildren, Tahytn, Nevaeh, Kaydence, Kaeson, and Emory. Best Friend Alison Staples, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cindy had a deep love for her family, her grandchildren and fine food. Cynthia’s first love was for her church and learning the word of God. She was a devoted Member of Travis Chapel United Methodist Church of Cleveland, GA. Where she was on the Benevolence Ministry, Greeting Ministry, and on random occasions taught bible study. Also, she attended Fortson Memorial Baptist Church in Dahlonega, GA. In addition to serving in her Church, hersecular jobs included a host of housekeeping and domestic positions throughout the Indianapolis and North Georgia sectors. There will be a viewing on Friday February 17, 2023 from 4 to 6pm at Travis Chapel United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Ga. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the same location. Pastor Maddie Hubbard will be officiating. Final arrangements entrusted to Willie A.
