Daisy Mae Dorsey

Daisy Mae Dorsey, age 79 of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. Ms. Dorsey was born on June 4, 1939, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late Payton and Ida J. Butler Dorsey. She was a homemaker and a member of Cleveland Congregational Holiness Church. Daisy enjoyed being involved at the White County Senior Center where she also volunteered with food service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Miriam Lovell; brother, William Lyndol Dorsey. Survivors include her nephews, Rodney Thompson (Shanna), Pete Dorsey (Hope), and Randy Thompson (Claudia); nieces, Wendy Canup (Casey) and Dana Lovell, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Turner will officiate. Interment will follow at Faith Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
