Daniel Clyde Weaver

March 20, 1941 — August 23, 2021

Mr. Daniel “Clyde” Weaver, age 80, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021. Mr. Weaver was born in Oakwood to the late Verlin and Grace Lackey Weaver. In addition to parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Charles Weaver and Glynn Weaver; sister, Estelle Ingram; infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth Weaver; great-grandson, Charlie Ward; and brother-in-law, Frank Ayers. He sold auto parts for 48 years and for Slack Auto Parts for 23 years. Mr. Weaver attended Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Cathy Weaver; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Lisa Weaver, Lula, and Wayne and Linda Pirkle, Toccoa; granddaughter Charlene (Johnny) Nunn, Oakwood; grandsons, Myron (Tayler) Ward, Sautee Nacoochee, Blake Pirkle, Toccoa, and Daniel Weaver, Beaufort, SC; great-grandchildren, Alexis Hardin, Nickolas Nunn, Chase Ward, Canaan Ward, and Caysen Ward; sister, Vivian Ayers. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Thursday, August 26, 2021 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Edward Hood and Rev. Geoffrey Dillard will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and from 6-8 Wednesday and Thursday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
