Danny Ellis

Danny Luther Ellis, age 66 of Cleveland, passed away on December 10, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Ellis was born on October 1, 1948, in Cleveland, Ga, the son of the late Dan and Estelle Palmer Ellis. He was a farmer and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his brother, Tiny Winkler. Survivors include his wife, Melinda Ellis, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dan Williams, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Ashley Ellis, Cleveland; daughter, Rosie Ellis, Cleveland; son, Joseph Ellis, Cleveland; grandchildren, Levi Williams, Ryan Williams, Chelsea Williams, Bailey Ellis, Brooke Ellis; great-grandchildren, Tye Brooks, Cherish Williams, Sky Lynn Williams; brother, Ricky Ellis, Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Charlie Pugh, Dr. Joe Vernon, and Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
