Darrell Ray Willis Sr.

Darrell Ray Willis Sr. age 53 of Sautee passed away Wednesday May 6, 2015. Mr. Willis was born in Gainesville, Texas the son of the late Edgar Willis and Gladys Saturday. He was preceded in death by his son Darrell Ray Willis, Jr., brother Eddie Wayne Willis and nephew Kenneth Paul McAfee. Mr. Willis was a member of God’s Church in the Hills and the Bill Glass Prison Ministry Team. He was a United States Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Lynne Edwards Willis, Sautee; sister, Marcie Guess, Gainesville, TX; grandchildren, Darrell Willis III, Starr Willis, Layla Willis; nephews, Curtis McAfee, Kirby McAfee and Casey McAfee all of Gainesville, TX. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. John Lance will officiate. Interment will be at Gateway Memory Park.
