Darwin "Woody" Wood

Darwin “Woody” Lemuel Wood, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Mr. Wood was born on January 22, 1952, in Pueblo, Colorado, to the late Otis Rowe and Leona Dennis Rowe Wood. He loved cooking, Nascar, and cutting grass. Woody had a gift for making people laugh and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Catherine Wood; sons, Aaron Wood (Tracy), Cleveland, Daniel Wood (Yuliana), Lula, Matthew Wood (Teresa), Cleveland; grandchildren, Asia Passmore, Stoney Edmondson, Eli Wood, Ciana Wood, Aaliyah Wood, and Ian Wood; sisters, Sharon Winkler (Clenn), Gainesville, Anna Brown (Dwain), Cleveland; brothers-in-law, Sonny Warwick (Diane), Wyman Warwick, Rondal Warwick (Sandra); sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lanier (Joey) and Deborah Carder (David). Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 6, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen Webb will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the memorial service.
