David Cox

David Eugene Cox, age 63 of Sautee, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012. Mr. Cox was born July 29, 1949 in Atlanta, GA to the late Thorton and Alma Dudely Cox. He was a police officer and a member of Inman First United Methodist Church and a member of Concord Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Regina Cox, Cornelia; Will and Kelly Cox, Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, T.C. and Juanita Cox, Stockbridge; Tom and Denise Cox, Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Larry Beaver, Anna Maria, FL; grandchildren, David Cox, Lillian Cox; partner, Gina Stanley and her children; grandson Dante’ Donley; cousin Donnie Roberts; best friends, Ed and Donna Crook. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The family will recieve friends 1-2 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
