David Lee Jordan

Mr. David Lee Jordan, age 71 of Murrayville, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Palm Beach County, Florida on November 21, 1935, he was the son of Mrs. Beulah Watts Jordan Lindsey of West Palm Beach, Florida and the late Harry Lee Jordan. Mr. Jordan was a U.S. Navy veteran, served 26 years as the West Palm Beach Fire Marshall, was a Palm Beach County Fire Inspector for 10 years, and a member of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew David Jordan and step-father, Raymond Lindsey. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Lynn VanDusen Jordan, Murrayville; son, Joshua Jordan, grandson, Gabriel Jordan, both of Murrayville; sisters, Mary Jane Lockman, Sevierville, Tennessee; Margaret DeLo, Coral Springs, Florida; and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Jordan’s wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be planned on a later date in West Palm Beach, Florida.
