David Russell Meaders

David Russell Meaders, age 68, of Lula, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Mr. Meaders was born on July 1st 1951 to Flossie and Reggie Meaders. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Anita Meaders and brother, Lamar Meaders. David was known for his unique personality, and his bonds of friendship. He was widely known for his pottery. David is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Bob Padgett of Henderson, Nevada; several nieces and nephews; his loving dogs, Leroy, Number 5 and Drive-by; along with numerous friends. He is survived in appreciation and love, his special friend, Teresa Savage-Elliott. She showed up as an angel in disguise and cared for and loved David as no one else would. The family would like to thank Teresa for the love and care she gave my brother, I could never love a sister like I love her. Private services were held.
