Dewey L. Turner

Dewey LaWayne Turner, age 52 of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Habersham Home. Mr. Turner was born on April 14, 1964, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Ralph and Frances Loving Turner. He was employed by Garrett’s Junkyard as a mechanic. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his son, Charles Daniel Turner; grandparents, Lizzie and James Turner. Survivors include his children, Joshua Turner, Hoschton, Tiffany Turner, Taylor Turner, and Jacob Turner, all of Cleveland; parents, Ralph and Frances Turner, Sparta; brothers, Mike Turner and Ralph Turner, Jr.; grandchildren, Riley Turner, Collin Turner, Olivia Brown. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow at Old Nacoochee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
