Diane King, age 67, of Lula, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020. Mrs. King was born in Gainesville to the late J.R. and Ruthlene Magness Savage. She was a teller at Wells Fargo and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Diane was preceded in death by her great-niece, Madison Gray. Survivors include husband, Wayne King, Lula; son, Bradley Motes, Cleveland; grandchildren, Caitlyn Motes (Joseph Agler) and Emily Motes; sisters, Roma Jean Reeves and Shirley Savage Bruce, both of Lula; step-daughters, Sandy (Michael) Todd, Alto, and Patrice (Rick) Womack, Franklin; step-grandchildren, Destiny Martin, Josh Womack, Alyssa Womack; nieces and nephews, Ryan Reeves, Jenna Reeves, Kaylee (Will) Smith, Shilee Smith, and Chris and Cindy Border; great-niece, Abby Gray. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Holly Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Josh Chatham will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
