Mr. Donald Wesley “Don” Cornutt, age 75 of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on October 24, 1932, Mr. Cornutt was the son of the late John and Mary Scalla Cornutt. Mr. Cornutt was a veteran having proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, was a retired Lt. Detective with the Palm Beach Police Department, and was a former Magistrate Judge in White County. He was a member of the Cleveland United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge, and the owner of the Kountry Kupboard in Cleveland.
Survivors include sons, Dennis John Cornutt, Cleveland, Donald Andrew Cornutt, Orlando, FL; daughter, Jennifer Dyan Reyes, Cleveland; grandchildren, Brittany Ankeny, Tampa, FL., Samantha Ann Cantrell, Kimberley Grace Reyes, both of Cleveland.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2008 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Hycke, the Rev. David Gravitt, and the Rev. Leland Bagwell will officiate.
