Donald Efford Dalton

Donald Efford Dalton, age 64, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Mr. Dalton was born on August 14, 1957, in Demorest, Georgia, to the late Haskel and Mary Lou Black Dalton. Donald enjoyed life outdoors. He loved going camping, hunting, fishing, and boating with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his nephew, Chris Dalton. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Donna Wilson Dalton; son, Jace Dalton; and grandson, Emery Dalton, who was the light of his life; siblings, Marilyn Dalton Humphries (Jimmy), Danny Dalton (Janie), and Lynn Dalton Klaiber; brother-in-law, Darryl Wilson (Carol); mother-in-law, and father-in-law, Pauline and Tommy Adkins; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home. Social distancing and masks are encouraged for those attending the visitation and service.
