Donald "Donnie" Freeman

Mr. Donald “Donnie” Freeman, age 59 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Freeman was born on February 26, 1954 to Robert and Betty Ramey Freeman, of Cleveland. Mr. Freeman was the owner of Crossroads Station convenience store and a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Judy Franklin Freeman, of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Chris Burnett; grandson, Isaac Michael Burnett, of Cleveland; parents, Rev. Robert and Betty Freeman, of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-laws, Bobby and Christie Freeman, Cleveland, Ronald and Jeanie Freeman, Cleveland, sister and brother-in-laws, Ann and Lynn Whitner, Helen, Glenda and John Essigman, Cleveland, Penny and Glenn Sims, Gillsville; sister-in-law and spouse, Carolyn and Loy Gooch, Cleveland; mother-in-law, Mandy Franklin, Cleveland; brother-in-law, Michael Franklin, Cleveland; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Matt Pruitt, Rev. Jason Daniell, and Rev. Jerry Vandiver will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 6-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
