Donnie Taylor

Donnie Taylor, age 60 of Demorest, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Mr. Taylor was born on September 1, 1958, in Habersham County, to the late Edgar and Pearl Burton Taylor. He was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church. Donnie was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Addilyn June Pearl Hullett; brother, Curtis Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Jody Taylor, Demorest; daughters, Cynthia Taylor, Cleveland, and Kristina Taylor, Lawrenceville; sons, Collin Taylor and Crate Taylor, both of Demorest; grandsons, Braden Allen, Grayson Allen, and Keydan Jarrells; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Pam Taylor, Dennis and Becky Taylor, and Mark and Glenda Taylor, all of Cleveland; sister, Yvonne Hulsey, Demorest; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Martha Holden, Cleveland; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jessica and Don Jones, Cleveland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Collin Taylor, the Rev. Frank Wyatt, and the Rev. Bill Trotter will officiate. Interment will follow in Trinity Full Gospel Church Cemetery with the Rev. Harvey Conner officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
