Dora Sumner

Dora Ivey Sumner, age 73, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Mrs. Sumner was born on January 12, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Dallas and Lena Blalock Ivey. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Dora was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Kevin Miller, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Robert Sumner, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Brian Miller, Woodstock, GA; grandson, Joseph Miller; sister, Mary Florence Ivey. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. The family kindly requests that those in attendance wear a mask and social distance.
