Doris "Dot" Banks

Doris “Dot” Banks, age 90 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Mrs. Banks was born March 8, 1932 in Cleveland to the late Ernest T. Irvin and Eura “Bond” Potts Irvin. Dot was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Banks and siblings, Harold Irvin, Nell Dalton, Marvin Irvin and Dood Irvin.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Leonard Taylor, John’s Creek; grandson, Daniel Taylor; great-grandchildren, Cora Taylor, Parker Taylor, Owen Taylor; brothers, Willard Irvin, Raymond Irvin; sisters, Barbara King and Bondell Cathey.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2022 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ross Sparks will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
