Dorothy Mae Jenkins

Dorothy Mae Jenkins, age of Dahlonega, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Gainesville, GA to the late Willie Tate Morrison and Mary Magdeline Anderson Morrison. Dorothy was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by numerous relatives.

Survivors include her husband, Nicholas Jenkins; son, Michael Jenkins; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Phil Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Terry and Margie Jenkins, Karen Carr; nieces and nephews, Sandy and Shane Savage, Phillip and Hannah Miller, Bryce and Kayla Miller, Mark Black and Penny Anderson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Junior Abernathy and the Rev. Marty Abernathy will officiate. Interment will follow at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
