Dorothy Ann Summerour

Dorothy Ann Summerour, age 50, of Dahlonega, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Ms. Summerour was born on August 22, 1971, in Cumming, Georgia, to the late Martha Tolbert and Randall Voyles. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Smith; aunt, Dott Riddle. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Paige Summerour, Cleveland; son, Christopher Armstrong, Dahlonega; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Todd Geoghegan, Dahlonega; daughter, Brandi Summerour, Dahlonega; significant other, Ray Grizzle, Lula; sisters, Kimberly Day and Dawn Smith, both of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Brooklyn Summerour, Rylee Summerour, Landon Summerour, Chloe Grizzle, Kalie Holman, Claira Holman, Bentlee Geoghegan, Brynlee Geoghegan, Vincent Abbatecola, and Tamarius Kelly. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Armstrong will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
