Dortha Lou Fortner

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday September 22, 2007 at Blue Creek Baptist Church for Mrs. Dortha Lou Stovall Fortner age 87 of Cleveland. The Rev. Dave Fortner, the Rev. Leon Carter and the Rev. Milton Harris will officiate. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Fortner passed away Thursday September 20, 2007 at Northeast Ga Medical Center Lanier Park Campus following an extended illness. Mrs. Fortner was born in White County the daughter of the late William Edgar and Ethel Johnson Stovall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard Fortner, daughters, Beverly Fortner, Linda Fortner and son, Gary Fortner. Mrs. Fortner was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. Survivors include her sister, Beulah Satterfield, Cleveland; brother and sister in law, Berman and Dolly Stovall, Cleveland; brothers in law and sisters in law, Dave and Virginia Fortner, George and Judy Fortner, Tim and Edna Fortner, all of Cleveland; sisters in law and brothers in law, Shirley and J.C.
