Dortha Mildred Rich

D. Mildred Rich, age 81, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Mrs. Rich was born on March 4, 1940, in Fannin County, to the late Manuel and Ola Gaddis Elliott. Mildred worked at the Old Sautee Store for 42 years and was a faithful member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Rich; brothers, Hildred Elliott, Charles Elliott, Fieldon Elliott, Frelon Elliott, and Cleamon Elliott. Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Rich, Cleveland; sisters, Ruby Nichols, Murphy, North Carolina, and Inez Green, Commerce, Georgia; brother, Paul Elliott, Murphy, North Carolina. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 1, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made to Mt.
