Dr. Susan Medlock

Dr. Susan Lynelle Medlock, age 68, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Dr. Medlock was born on May 30, 1955, in Decatur, Georgia, to the late Relph Medlock, Jr. and Amy Adderhold Medlock. She spent her career as an emergency room doctor and enjoyed singing with the Atlanta Symphony Chorus. Susan was raised at Druid Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Dr. Medlock was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Medlock III, and sister, Emily Medlock. Survivors include her husband, Danny Summerhill; niece, Cassondra Medlock. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Brandon Hester will officiate.
