Dustin Mobley

Dustin W. Mobley, age 17, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018. Dustin was born in Lumpkin County.  He loved bicycling, hiking, camping, and cooking at home. Dustin was a very caring person and was musically talented. He was baptized at Mountain Lake Church in Cumming and was a former member of the Boy Scouts. Survivors include, mother, Sheila Mobley, Cleveland; father and step-mother, Chris and Karen Mobley, Whittier, NC; brothers, Damian Mobley and Ian Mobley; sister, Ava Mobley; paternal grandparents, Pierce and Pam Mobley and Carol Davis; maternal grandmother, Marylin Hembree; great- grandmothers, Wilma Mobley, Bobbie Davis, and Big Mama “Corrine” Summers; aunts, Tanya Brumbelow, Kris Taylor, Sheena Rutch, Cretia Lennon; uncles, Tommy Summers, Mark Summers, Kurt Summers, Craig Mobley; cousin, Libby Brumbelow; and numerous other family members. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2018, from the Chapel at Barrett Funeral Home.  Minister Pierce Mobley will officiate.  Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-3 P.M. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
