Earl T. Rogers

Mr. Earl Truman Rogers, age 72, of Cleveland, went home to be with his heavenly Father surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 7, 2020. Earl was born in White County to the late Paul and Carrie Thompson Rogers.  In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Rogers and Clay Rogers. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Peggy Rogers, Cleveland; daughters, Lisa Ritchie, Lula, and Melanie Scandrett (Todd) Charlotte, NC; sons, Chris Rogers, Cleveland, and Michael (Lynn) Rogers, Laurens, SC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Sandra Rogers, Cleveland, Kenneth and Barbara Rogers, Cleveland, and Garrison and Gertrude Rogers, Gaston, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bill Stockton, Port Charlotte, FL; sisters, Mary Lou Scero, Gilbert, SC, Joyce Wiley, Lula, and Annette Dyer, Cleveland; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church. The Rev. Joey Pritchett, Rev. Gary Hefner and Todd Scandrett will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, February 10, 2020 at the funeral home.
