Edith Mae Jones

Edith Mae Jones, age 87 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 05, 2013 at Habersham Medical Center. Mrs. Jones was born September 25, 1925 in Banks County to the late Gordon Sr. and Flora Thomas Wade. She was a homemaker and attended Mt. Vernon Fire Baptized Church. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband George William Jones, brothers, Roy Wade, Gordon Wade Jr. and Homer Wade. Survivors include her sister, Alma Pilgrim, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Hubert and Cora Wade, Cleveland; sister-in-law, Freddie Wade, Cleveland; step daughters, Lena Ann Graham, Chatsworth; Anna Mae Roberts, Ten Mile, TN; Patricia Con, Tunnel Hill, TN. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, April 8, 2013 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Taylor and the Rev. Lester Haynes will officiate. Interment will follow in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery with Gary Heffner officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
