Edna Henderson

  Mrs. Edna Henderson, daughter of the late John Coleman and Beatrice Coleman. Edna passed away peacefully on June 14th, 2017, in Cleveland Georgia. Edna dedicated her life to God and was baptized in 1962 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.   Edna was born on February 4th, 1939 in Chicago Illinois. She met Sam Henderson, her now surviving husband. Edna & Sam raised a family of 7 kids in a loving home in North Chicago, IL. In 1998, Edna & Sam moved to Huntsville, Alabama to retire. In 2008 they moved back to Gurnee, IL where they could get more assistance from their sons. Once the cold weather started to affect their living again, they relocated south, to where their daughter lived, in Cleveland, GA, where Edna lived out the remaining of her days.   Edna’s beautiful life will forever be cherished by her husband of 59 years, Sam Henderson, and her seven children: Tracy Henderson (Andrea Bandy), Rick Henderson (Benay Bettis), Larry Henderson, Vicki Johnson (David Johnson), Scott Henderson (Geneva Henderson), Troy Henderson (Diane Henderson), and Derrick Henderson. She also had fourteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She was also survived by 3 brothers, Floyd Coleman, Hulan Coleman, and John Coleman; and one sister, Pearl Coleman.   Memorial services will be held at 12 P. M. Saturday June 24, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 44 Jackson Rd. Cleveland, GA.   Online condolences may be made to the family at barrettfh.com.   Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland.
