Edna Elaine Karsner

  Edna Elaine Karsner, age 72 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.   Mrs. Karsner was born November 5, 1941 in Whistler, AL to the late Victor Thornton Havard and Edna Mae Haner Havard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. Karsner and brother, Clark Havard. Mrs. Karsner was a retired Computer Programmer, member of Cleveland First Baptist Church and Beta Sigma Phi.   Survivors include daughter and son in law, Courtenay and Jon Davis, Sugar Hill; daughter, Shannon Solomon, Dallas; grandchildren, Piper and Aaron Higginbotham, Cumming; Peyton Solomon, Dallas, Will Davis, Ben Davis, both of Sugar Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Victor Neal and Jackie Havard, New Orleans, LA; extended family members, Drew and Dianne Davis; Colleen Davis, Charles Davis; nephews, Victor Havard, Greg Havard, Vince Havard, Kevin Havard, Byron Havard.   Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Cleveland First Baptist Church. Dr. T. Mike Davis and the Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.   The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cleveland First Baptist Church, Hostess Fund for Funerals P.O.
