Edward Talbot Matzel

Mr. Edward T. Matzel, age 49 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday September 11, 2007 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Matzel was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Albert and Harriett Case Matzel. He was an electrician and worked at Home Depot in Dahlonega. Survivors include his wife: Cindy Rogers Matzel, Cleveland; daughters: Becky Matzel, Cleveland; Michelle Burke, Cleveland; brothers; Bill Matzel, Chittenango, NY; Peter Matzel, Perryville, NY and sisters; Marilyn Craw, Chittenango, NY; Beth Sterritt, Fabius, NY; Marie Matzel, Frederick, CO; and Margie Wilson, Sautee. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007 from Barrett Chapel. Burial will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday.
