Eleanor Jackson Palmer

Mrs. Eleanor Jackson Palmer age 83 of Cleveland passed away Friday December 5, 2008 at Lanier Park Hospital . Mrs. Palmer was born in White County the daughter of the late William O. and Ruby Johnson Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Palmer. Mrs Palmer was an English Teacher at White County High School and Middle School for 33 years. Mrs. Palmer was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include son, Barry Palmer, Cleveland; sister and brother in law, Iris J. and Herb Goolsby, Atlanta; niece and husband, Holly and Ray Reese; great nephew, Jaden Reese; great niece, Maya Reese. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday December 7, 2008 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Chuck Nation and Rev. Leon Carter will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
