Elizabeth Brien

Elizabeth Annette Brien, age 98, of Sautee, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Mrs. Brien was born on September 26, 1923, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Russell and Gladys Hamilton Atkinson. She was a homemaker and a member of The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, John Haswell Brien; son, Richard Russell Brien. Survivors include her daughter, Laura Byrd, Grayson, Georgia; brother, Robert Brien, Hartwell, Georgia; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. Father Scott Kidd will officiate.
