Elizabeth "Betty" Owens

Elizabeth “Betty” Lee Owens, age 76, of Demorest, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. Mrs. Owens was born on June 26, 1949, in Houston, Texas, to the late Falvey Lee Bracy and Monique Elizabeth Erens Bracy. She retired from Clayton County Schools and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her stepbrother. Survivors include her husband, George Owens, Demorest; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Amy Owens, Roswell, and Stephen and Michelle Owens, Demorest; grandchildren, Jon Jones and Jacob Heald. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
