Ellen Autry Campbell

Mrs. Ellen Autry Campbell, age 73, of Clermont passed away Friday July 11, 2008 at Lanier Park Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Campbell was born in Hall County, Georgia on August 11,1934 to the late Lewis and Letcher Satterfield Autry. She was preceded in death by brothers Herman and Perry Autry. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and a longtime member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 54 years Garnett ( G.C. ) Campbell Jr, Clermont; daughters and son in laws Shelia and Ron Hart , Alesia and Sam Cole, Tammie and Mike Kelly all of Cumming, Denise and Tony Newman, Lilburn; sons and daughter in laws Ronnie and Betty Campbell, Larry and Donna Campbell all of Cleveland, Ricky and Marie Campbell, Hull, GA; sisters and brother in laws Violet and Tex Jones Gainesville, GA, Jesse Dean and Ronald Sparks, Cleveland, Betty and Gary Dillard, Lithia Springs; brothers and sister in laws Rudy and Linda Autry, Canton, Ethel Autry, Lula; 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 great–great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday July 14, 2008 from the Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. The Rev. Kyle Savage and the Rev. Mike Irvin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and 3 till 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
