Elmer Dub Stafford

Mr. Elmer W. (Dub) Stafford age 80 of Cleveland, GA passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Habersham County Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Stafford was born on January 25, 1929 in Madison, Alabama to the late Charlie Elmer and Beatrice Wolaver Stafford. He worked with NASA as a contracting officer and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife: Agnes Stafford, Cleveland, GA; daughters: Paula Stafford, Seattle, WA; Kimberly Hendricks, Kingsport, TN; Jill Egan, Stewart, FL Tammy Lambros, Scottsdale, AZ; brothers: Billy Wade Stafford and Joe D. Stafford both of Madison, AL., 11 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Charity Lane Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL. The Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.
