Elora Miller Anderson

Mrs. Elora Miller Anderson, age 75 of Alto passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Anderson was born on December 13, 1933 to the late Hoke Smith and Evilee Davidson Miller. She was retired as a textile worker from Mt Vernon Mills and a member of Enon Baptist Church. Survivors include: husband of 58 years: Dennis Anderson, Alto; son and daughter-in-law: Mack and Sandra Anderson, Alto; grandchildren: Amy & Sterling McCallister, Weaver, AL; Luke & Nikki Anderson, Buford; Paula & Randy Martin, Gainesville; Pam York, Tucker; Patty Ellison, Flowery Branch; sisters, Rohena Kimbrell, Demorest; Laquita Watson, Gastonia; brothers: Jimmy Miller, Salisbury, NC; Clyde Miller and Gary Miller, Alto; and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Friday, August 14, 2009 at Enon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chris Anderson, Rev. Craig Summit and Rev. Loyd Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Bill Carpenter at graveside. The family will receive friends after 11:00 am on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Enon Baptist Church.
