Emily Oliver Pursley

Emily Oliver Pursley, age 38, of Clermont, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Pursley was born on May 16, 1982, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Randy and Pamela Savage Oliver. She worked as a credit underwriter for Truist Bank and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Levi Pursley, Clermont; daughter, Blakely Jane Pursley, Clermont; father and mother, Randy and Pam Oliver, Lula; brother, Corey Oliver, Lula; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Stephanie Oliver, Lula; mother-in-law, Beth Allen, Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Derrica Rohmeyer, Cleveland, Brittany Pursley, Gainesville, and Rachell Pursley, Gainesville; nephews, Dylan (Mary Beth) Oliver, Dawson Oliver, and Carson Smith. Emily’s love for life and adventurous spirit will live on through Blakely Jane, who shares her contagious smile. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Holly Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Scott Strickland, the Rev. Josh Chatham, and the Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
