English Taylor Jr.

Mr. English Taylor, Jr., age 81, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018.   Mr. Taylor was born on July 21, 1937, in Alabama, to the late English Taylor, Sr. and Josephine Adair Taylor. He was a self-employed construction laborer and retired from the union. English was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtis Simpson Taylor; brothers, James Taylor and Sylvester Lee Taylor; sisters, Sara Pearl Taylor, Maggie Mae Henderson, Josie Lee Dooley, and Bernice Unthank; grandson, Alex Taylor.   Survivors include daughter and son in law, Patricia and Charles Smith, Cleveland; son, Anglish Leonard Taylor, Dallas, TX; brother, Phillip Taylor, Bricktown, New Jersey; sisters, Dorothy Thompson, Clearwater, Florida, and Betty Neal, New Samaritan Beach, Florida; devoted niece, Grace Dooley; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.   A private gathering will be planned Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 216 Luther Palmer Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.   To share a memory or leave a condolence, please visit barrettfh.com.   Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland.
